The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting is an independent voluntary regulatory body for electrical installation safety matters throughout the UK.
The aim of the NICEIC is to protect everyone who uses electricity from unsafe electrical installations in their homes, places of work and leisure. To achieve this, the NICEIC maintain a register of electrical contractors that are assessed as complying with the various standards, codes of practice and scheme rules.
We are compliant under the Contractors Health & Safety Assessement Scheme.
But what does CHAS compliancy mean to our customers? CHAS is a Government sponsored third party examination of our own Health and Safety procedures. This involves an independent body examining how we prepare our working method statements and risk assessments and that we have procedures in place to ensure the safety of our workforce and the general public. This means you have independent assurance that any work carried out by us on your behalf will be undertaken in a professional and safe manner.
